The measurements of every mattress size and who each one is for, so you choose right the first time.

Which mattress size do I need?
- Queen is the most popular size for couples in Puerto Rico: it fits most master bedrooms.
- King gives you 16 more inches of width than a Queen. Ideal if you share the bed with kids or pets, or your partner moves a lot.
- Full is a good choice for one adult who wants room, or for the guest room.
- Twin and Twin XL are ideal for kids, bunk beds and teens. Choose Twin XL for anyone over 6 feet tall.
Measure your room before buying
Leave at least 24 to 30 inches of space around the bed to walk and open drawers and doors. Also measure the door and hallway the mattress will go through.
Don’t forget the base
A new mattress needs good support. You can use a regular or low-profile box spring, a bunkie board or an adjustable base. Many mattresses at Berríos come as a set with their box spring.
